Nestled under the Scafell mountain range at the head of beautiful Wastwater, the deepest lake in England, this stunning place is attractive for its remoteness and utter peace. The dramatic landscape will inspire the most adventurous outdoor enthusiast. England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike, is within striking distance from Wasdale Campsite as are many other high fell walking routes. The site offers 8 hard standings with electric hook up for campervans as well as grass tent pitches and camping pods. (Max size accepted for campervans is 6m long by 2m wide). Pitches can be booked in advance. Open all year round.
All profit from NT campsites in the Lake District support important conservation projects.
