Bears Motorsport have just taken up our challenge to build a complete race car from scrath over the two days of the VolksWorld Show. As an added bonus, Bears will be fitting their new Type 1 engine – a thing of real beauty –to the car. Wonder if they will do it, pint in it for me if they don’t.
Calling all Old Skool BMX enthusiasts!
Due to last years success, we are looking for a number of old skool BMX bikes to display in a Show and Shine event at the VolksWorld Show. In association with Cool Flo Vintage, whom will be organising some superb outdoor entertainment for you over the whole weekend to include live music and DJ sets.
We are always looking for creative ways to feature show cars and buses at the VolksWorld Show. Last year we bought in 15 tons of stone chips – this year we are looking at grassing over one of the feature car areas, bringing the great outdoors in. We are in discussion with an artificial grass supplier to let us have 250 sq
Ok, so we destroyed our Lego Camper in the previous post, but fear not! Here’s how to build it back up again. Sweet!
We were given a Lego VW Camper to build and review. So we did just that. But then it had to be dismantled to send it back to the PR company. It would’ve been rude not to see how robust the Camper was so we introduced it to a metal cabinet.

We have been alerted to an article on ACE saying you will no longer have to declare your off-the-road vehicle SORN every year. Instead you only have to declare it SORN once and then re-apply for a new tax disc when the car

The organisers of the VolksWorld Show have just agreed with Janet at the Ace Cafe London to run a VolksWorld Show evening cruise. Starting after the show closes on Saturday night, the run will take in some famous London sights before ending up at the world famous Ace Cafe London. It will be a great opportunity to meet up with fellow VW
So what has been happening to Pedro, our Show Car Give Away, up at JAVA? Well, the bumpers have been removed so the insides can be repainted and the bumper brackets will be blasted and repainted. The wing beading is also all being removed and replaced, as are the running boards. Jon has also removed one of the front wings

Cartoonist Peter Jones will be bringing his unique split to the show, make sure you come and say hello and check out the detail on this crazy Bus. To make things even more interesting he will drawing VW cartoons of your favourite VW’s all weekend but instead of using regular pen and paper he will be using a white marker
