The February 2012 issue of VW Camper&Bus is on sale 12th January 2012
Features:
Crazy DC – Split Screen: Think this is just another patina’d Panel Van? Wrong! It’s a technical tour de force and a true wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Tech it out - T5: A party Bus owned by party people who also happen to be a group of wake-boarding musicians. Is it any wonder there’s a set of optics in the back and an iPad in the dash?
Evolution not revolution – Split Screen: It’s hard to make your mark when buying a ‘done’ vehicle, but Ian Bates has done precisely that with his boutique interior.
Secret Squirrel – Bay Window: With this Westy, beauty is more than skin deep – it has been sympathetically upgraded to offer vintage looks with all the mod cons.
Keeping up with the Jones’ – Type 25: The best thing about building a unique VW is knowing you’re not likely to see another one. Until someone reads this story.
From a land down under – Bay Window: Some couples go out to dinner to celebrate their anniversary. Jon and Kathy bought a Camper, and with it a new way of life.
The rest:
Technical – Panel and paint preparation.
Product focus: Crash-tested T5 bed – Buying a new bed for your T4 or T5? We check out an impressive and safe interior solution for modern Buses.
Shop tour: Kieft en Klok – From servicing and sales to complete restorations, Kieft en Klok is a one stop VW shop.
Camperscene: The latest from the Bus scene.
Back to mine: Guided tour of a readers Bus.
Show Us Yours: Our readers’ rides.
Viewpoint: Have your say.
Weekend Away: Weekend jaunts in your Camper vans.
Road Trip: Alpine adventure – Don’t save the road trips for the summer, the winter offers plenty of exciting opportunities, too.
Hans Klapp’s Bus History
Trinket Pimp: Accesories that float your boat.
